Staff are so rude and condescending! Do no go here!
I visited the Worthing store today with my mother, my two children and my nephew. We popped in after having fish and chips for a sweet treat. My son and nephew were wandering the store and I was selecting some chocolates, when we hear a commotion in the neighbouring aisle. A customer accused my 15 yo nephew of trying to steal vapes and members of staff stormed over shouting at him and my son to leave the store. There was no politeness in asking them what was going on or dealing with the issue in any civil manner. The staff didn't come to speak to me as the parent present. There was no explanation to the way your staff reacted, and to be frank, we were disgusted with their behaviour. Yes my nephew is underage, but looking at the flavour of vapes which are displayed by the tills in full view of children, does not mean that he is going to steal them! Even touching the packaging doesn't mean he is stealing.
Complete lack of decorum from all staff present! Shame on you all. I have contacted headquarters to make an official complaint and I hope he staff receive some proper training on how to deal with innocent customers in such events!
Worst shop experience from the manager of huge company Iceland .Went to here and bought 2 for £8 items. When I paid the till I wasn't check properly then I saw the they charged me over price which is 2 for £9 . Then went to shop explain the situation. Staff asked the manager then they put wrong price label actually they are for tomorrow. I got 8 case of 15x200ml fruit shoot. They are heavy stuff. I bring them back one of the men Staff said me come tomorrow. They didnt even say proper sorry !!He probably was kidding me.
Another thing always is queue. Always sort of staff even security guy was filling the shelf up .!
I used to work budgens supermarket. When there is label wrong you need to sell them with that price. Because that's shop mistake. !!!
Parking so handy. Pay for a ticket and you'll get a £1 off your shopping so money back or £100 fine!
Great for most groceries, but especially frozen food. I like their 10 o/o discount for over 60's on Tuesdays with their bonus card.
The store has your normal iceland stuff, which is great. The staff are mostly friendly and helpful but it seems they are always understaffed on the the tills, always a large queue like Lidl shops.
I have always been more than happy with my experiences concerning this company the products are good and priced competitively
Clean, convenient, efficiently ran. Staff were polite and helpful. Prices are a little higher than normal but that's due to the cost of living situation. Gorgeous cinnamon buns ;-)
I always shop at Iceland on a Tuesday because I get my OAP discount, however it can be a nightmare. Management on a Tuesday do not seem to be able to manage the store. Today June 20th 2023 there were only two cashiers on duty. Many of the customers like me were pensioners with full baskets, when they get to the till they have difficulty putting their purchases in their bags when it comes to paying they cannot find their bus pass or Bonus card. They then have to speak to the cashier something that is not on the shelves this week. I waited 20 minutes to get to the cashier and there were only two people in front of me and at 80 I think I was the youngest.
Can especially on a Tuesday the management put extra staff on the till. There seems more staff are filling shelves but fewer on the till.
I will say it is good value at Iceland but I cannot bear the waiting.
